All I ever really needed to know, I learned at kindergarten.

Texto de Robert L. Fulghum, que he leído en inglés (para que veáis todo lo que enseñan en el That's English) y que me voy a permitir la licencia de traducir en cuanto pueda ( a ver cómo me sale):

All I ever really needed to know, I learned at kindergarten.
Most of what I really need to know about how to live, what to do and how to be, I learned at nursery school.
Wisdom was not at the end of my university career, but at nursery school.
These are the things I learned:
- SHARE EVERYTHING.
- PLAY FAIR.
- DON'T HIT PEOPLE.
- PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM.
- CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS.
- DON'T TAKE THINGS THAT AREN'T YOURS.
- SAY SORRY WHEN YOU HUR SOMEBODY.
- WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU EAT.
- PULL THE TOILET CHAIN WHEN YOU'VE FINISHED.
- EVERY DAY, TRY TO LEARN SOMETHING, THINK A BIT, DRAW, PAINT, SING, DANCE, PLAY AND WORK.
- WHEN YOU GO OUT INTO THE WORLD, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC, HOLD HANDS, AND STAY TOGETHER.
- BIRDS, ANIMALS, SMALL PLANTS- THEY ALL DIE. SO DO WE.
- REMEMBER THE MOST IMPORTANTWORD IN YOUR FIRST BOOK: LOOK.
I think everyone should have warm biscuits and cold milk at three o' clock every afternoon. All nations ought to put things back where they found them and clean up their own mess. WHAT A BETTER WORLD IT WOULD BE!
And it is still true, no matter how old you are, that when you go into the world, it is best to hold hands and stay.
